Sandwick Farm is an upland stock rearing farm in the North Pennine Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Their main aim is to produce breeding stock to sell on to other farms. The farm has recently entered into the Higher Level Scheme where they receive payments for the restoration of woodland and preserving other environmental features. During the 2km walk traditional breeds of cattle, sheep and pigs can be seen along with the diverse flora and fauna and panoramic views of the Eden Valley.
